Are You Tough Enough? As an Arizona running tradition for 46 years, the Whiskey Row Marathon is among the toughest races in the country. Featuring rugged terrain, an altitude in excess of one mile above sea level and, on occasion, severe weather, it’s challenging, fun and offers a number of running routes for runners of all skill and fitness levels, including a marathon, half marathon, 10k and new this year a 5K and .30 Mile High Fun Run.
Proceeds from this race will go directly into the scholarship fund at the James Family Prescott YMCA. This fund provides families in financial need to participate in childcare, swimming lessons, youth sports and gymnastics classes. Your participation in this race not only promotes your personal health, but also promotes the overall health of the Prescott Community.
Join runners from all over the country in this prestigious event – and show your friends and family that you are “Tough Enough”.
Race Times:
Marathon- 6:00am
Half Marathon- 7:00am
10K- 7:30am
5K- 8:00am
.3 Mile High Fun Run- 7:10am
Course closes at noon.
There will be a 5:00am early start for marathoners who would struggle to finish the race in 6 hours. Early starters' results will appear in a separate results listing and be ineligible for awards.
Prices vary by race and sign-up date: $25.00-$125.00
Weather can still be chilly or nice and sunny requiring sunscreen and shorts! Check weather.com for updates.

We will meet at the Upper Parking lot along Iron Springs, where Javelina Trail #332 meets Iron Springs (trailhead). 5:30pm. Expect 4-6 miles. No drop run (we stop for everyone at every intersection).

Directions: To Iron Springs Trailhead from downtown Prescott: Take Montezuma Street north (becomes Whipple St) to its intersection with Willow Creek Road (about 1.5 miles). Continue west on Iron Springs Road for another 4.5 miles, then turn left into the trailhead. There is parking for approximately 30 vehicles. Trailers are not allowed at the trailhead for highway safety concerns.

It’s the original costumed ultra trail run party in the desert…
It’s the world famous, Javelina Jundred presented by Hoka!
The race is held on a 20 mile rolling single track trail course comprised mostly of the Pemberton Trail in beautiful McDowell Mountain Regional Park near Fountain Hills, Arizona. Runners will take on 100 miles, 100k or a nighttime 31k dubbed “Jackass Night Trail” on a looped course in the gorgeous Sonoran Desert.
Come dressed in your best and be ready to party at the one and only, Javelina Jundred!

Drive up 89 away from Prescott toward Chino, turn RIGHT at the light across from Cliff Rose/Rosser St. Trailhead is right next to Hwy 89.

Directions: Take HWY-69 towards Prescott. After leaving the Prescott Valley area, you'll reach the intersection of HWY-69 and HWY-89. Stay left on Gurley street and make a quick left turn onto Robinson Drive into a residential area. From Robinson Drive, turn left on Butterfield Road. When you reach a five way intersection, turn right onto Wells Fargo Road. When Wells Fargo road turns north, look on your right for a small, hidden dirt road (the trailhead sign is tough to spot). Take this well graded dirt road to the parking area and Turley Trailhead.

Experience the history and beauty of the Wild West the way it was intended...on two feet!
Join us for the 2025 edition of the Black Canyon Ultras!
Enjoy winding Sonoran Desert trails in the shadow of the Bradshaw Mountains. The course is point-to-point with net elevation loss.. but do not be fooled: this is a tough and taxing course with the majority of elevation gain coming the second half of the race.
Both the 100k and 50k run along the non-motorized Black Canyon Trail (a National Recreation Trail) featuring a mixture of single track trail, jeep roads, and pieces of an old stagecoach route.
Challenge yourself in 2025 and join us for the 12th annual Black Canyon Ultras. The 100k takes place on Saturday and the 50k on Sunday, giving you the unique opportunity to up the ante of epicness and run them both, making it the “Black Canyon Echo Challenge”!

🏜️ The original epic of the Cocodona name starts at Rock Springs Cafe in Black Canyon City and traverses a continuous 250 mile point-to-point route, ending in Flagstaff, Arizona. Arguably the most diverse 200+miler on the map. Be prepared for a life changing epic adventure.
⛰️ Sedona Canyons 125 - May 7-10, 2025
This 125-mile point-to-point adventure runs the back half of the full Cocodona course. You’ll start in Jerome, run through Sedona, and finish in Flagstaff, alongside runners competing in the 250-miler. Get the best sections of the full course with half the pain.
🌲 Elden Crest 38 - May 9-10, 2025
The last 38 miles of the full Cocodona course is a Tour-de-Flagstaff. Start at Fort Tuthill, run through beautiful Walnut Canyon, up-n-over Mt Elden, and finish in downtown Flagstaff.
