10/30 Update: Handing out candy bags to everyone in the parking lot before hand so no matter when you bail, you get a lackluster treat. With no little kids seemingly in the mix, my wife and kid will be handing out candy at .5 and .75 mark before we hit Iron King, then vanish into the abyss. Sugar drop is still mile 8. You get til 7:05pm to get there before I start a rant, give out a candy bag, then we head out.

13 miles of whatever the HELL you want it to be. Group run, all paces welcome, stop at intersections, and act stupid. Wear a costume, bring some treats, bite a neighbor, and slay.

Starting at the Red Tail trailhead in the Dells neighborhood, we explore a route that captures some of the HELLS DELLS course in reverse as well as touches some newer trails on the east side of the Dells that will be fun to explore at night. There will be a water drop/Halloween Candy Feasting at mile 8ish at the Hobbit Trail Parking.

Make sure you have the route downloaded but it’s an all paces group run where we stop to ensure no one gets lost. Cuz there are tons of ways to make this shorter if you aren’t up for the whole thing.

And I’m putting this out there for the fams in the group. There is a 5k (Mini Soul Slayer) route option that follows the regular group out about a mile and a half and circles back to the start. My daughter will be in a Reaper costume and my wife will be out there to hand out candy to any kids that wanna hike/run the route.

They will be posted at a couple spots on the way to Peavine (.5 and .75) and will have a bigger bag of candy to give out at a spot on the way back to the finish(2.35 and 2.9). And if anyone is down to stand around for an hour dressed up and willing to hike a half mile or so from the start, we can have another candy stop. Let me know if you wanna join in on the stupidity and I’ll get it organized.
